Our Quality Difference
Many visitors to this home remark that it is the best built home they have ever seen in Costa Rica. Here are some examples why our construction quality is visibly better! To see more examples of our quality, drop by for a visit.

Pre-stressed concrete floor beams with 6 inches of insulation ensure the strongest, quietest floors you will find anywhere.

The roof is insulated with seven inches of fiberglass insulation, offering an R-20 insulation value. The home remains cooler and air conditioning is rarely required. Most other homes use only 1/8 inch of foam insulation.
Walls are constructed of heavily reinforced "Superbloque." Superbloque construction offers superior earthquake resistance and straighter, smoother walls than usually found.

The home sits on solid rock, ensuring the foundation remains problem-free forever.

The septic system features an oversized triple chamber septic tank and over 120 feet of drainage field. (Typical septic systems for other new homes consist of a single chamber tank and a rock-filled hole in the ground.)

One of three plumbing vents. Other builders talk quality, but try to find their plumbing vents!

We have used only high quality Carrier air conditioning equipment for reduced energy costs and less maintenance.

The home features a 225 amp service, all fully grounded and built to North American standards.

Taps and shower controls are top quality Price Pfister units while porcelain sinks and toilets are well respected American Standard units.

High quality Ardehsa roof tiles imported from Honduras will last many lifetimes. Some other builders use low quality tiles that carry no guarantee and will last only a few years.

Las Casas Para el Mar President, Richard Lee, is on site all day, every day during every project, guaranteeing a "no surprises" build.
